Don’t Panic!
We are sorry that you are experiencing problems trying to access our website.
As we all know computers are quite complex things, never ending updates, new operating systems, security firewalls etc, it’s a wonder that anything works at all!
For the most part, if you are using Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator or Safari web browsers with the Shockwave Player installed, and your computer has at least 128MB of RAM, and is able to play audio, then you should be able to use our website.
Adobe Acrobat Reader will also be needed if you wish to use our free worksheets! If you are reading this page something must be going wrong - so let’s try a few things to see if we can get our website working on your computer.
What is the Shockwave Player?
Shockwave is a web browser plug-in which helps to create a more diverse and richer multimedia environment; better graphics, animations and sounds etc.
If you don't already have the Shockwave Player installed on your computer you can download it for free from the Macromedia Website. (See below)Recent releases of Internet Explorer and Netscape Navigator come with the Shockwave Player already installed.

Most people have no problem installing shockwave. However, if you're accessing the internet through a secure firewall you'll need to check with your computer administrator to make sure they've configured the firewall to allow for shockwave access.
The Shockwave Player is available for FREE from the Macromedia website.

Now follow Macromedia's instructions for downloading and installing the software. It is very easy to do.
(NOTE: You only need to download the Shockwave Player not the Flash or Authorware Players).
If for some reason the shockwave player refuses to automatically download (secure firewalls etc.) then
Click here to download a special version >> - which allows you to install it yourself.
Here is another website which uses Shockwave. It’s a good test to see if it’s our website that’s having problems, or if it’s your web browser not working with Shockwave.
